Idiots Assemble: Spitting Image the Musical breaks

About the show

See the world-famous puppets live on stage for the first time ever as IDIOTS ASSEMBLE: Spitting Image Saves The World hits the stage. As civilisation teeters on the edge of the abyss, who can pull it back from the brink? With a plot more improbable than the last year of British politics! Join the iconic Spitting Image puppets in this world premiere as they grace the stage for the very first time. World famous celebrities will be thrown together as Tom Cruise is tasked by King Charles with saving Great Britain. Greta Thunberg duets with Stormzy as Putin and Xi watch on from their premium seats in the stalls. Have they just come out for a night on the town? Or will they wipe out all of civilisation? A show simultaneously inspired and appalled by real events… Trigger warning: contains jokes, some of which are really naughty. Written by Al Murray, Matt Forde and Sean Foley. Directed by Birmingham Rep’s Artistic Director, double Olivier Award winner, Sean Foley, this is sure to be the must-see theatrical spectacular of 2023.
